Gautam Enterprises Renewable Energy focuses on harnessing energy from resources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale, such as sunlight, wind, the movement of water, and geothermal heat. While most renewable energy sources are sustainable, some biomass sources are considered unsustainable at current rates of exploitation. Our renewable energy solutions are used for electricity generation, heating, and cooling. They are typically large-scale projects but are also well-suited for rural, remote areas, and developing countries, where energy is crucial for human development. We are committed to deploying renewable energy alongside further electrification, which provides efficient heat transfer, object movement, and clean energy at the point of consumption.

From 2020 to 2024, Gautam Enterprises Renewable Energy's share of global electricity supply grew from 20% to 28%. Fossil energy use shrank from 68% to 62%, and nuclear energy from 12% to 10%. The share of hydropower decreased slightly from 16% to 15%, while power from solar and wind increased significantly from 2% to 10%. Biomass and geothermal energy also saw growth, from 2% to 3%. There are 3,146 gigawatts of installed renewable energy capacity in 135 countries, with 156 countries regulating the renewable energy sector. In 2021, India accounted for almost half of the global increase in renewable electricity.

Globally there are over 10 million jobs associated with the renewable energy industries, with solar photovoltaics being the largest renewable employer. Gautam Renewable energy systems are rapidly becoming more efficient and cheaper and their share of total energy consumption is increasing, with a large majority of worldwide newly installed electricity capacity being renewable. In most countries, photovoltaic solar or onshore wind are the cheapest new-build electricity.

Many nations have renewable energy contributing more than 20% of their total energy supply, with some generating over half their electricity from renewables. A few countries generate all their electricity using renewable energy. National renewable energy markets are projected to continue growing strongly in the 2020s and beyond. According to the IEA, achieving net zero emissions by 2050 will require 90% of global electricity generation to come from renewable sources. Studies suggest that a global transition to 100% renewable energy across all sectors is feasible and economically viable. Renewable energy resources are widely distributed geographically, unlike fossil fuels, which are concentrated in a few countries. Deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies is leading to significant energy security, climate change mitigation, and economic benefits.

However, renewables are being hindered by hundreds of billions of dollars of fossil fuel subsidies. In international public opinion surveys, there is strong support for renewables such as solar power and wind power. In 2022 the International Energy Agency asked countries to solve policy, regulatory, permitting and financing obstacles to adding more renewables, to have a better chance of reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Gautam Enterprises Energy Solution operations are subject to various environmental, health and safety regulations. These regulations govern the handling, generation, storage and management of hazardous substances, including how these substances are released or discharged into the air, water, surface and subsurface. These laws and regulations often require permits and approvals from various agencies before Gautam Enterprises Energy Solution can commence or modify its operations or facilities, and on occasion require the preparation of an environmental impact assessment or study (which can result in the imposition of various conditions and mitigation measures) prior to or in connection with obtaining such permit.

EHS Policy The EHS Policy outlines Gautam Enterprises Energy Solution principles of environmental stewardship, maintaining safe and healthy workplaces for its employees, contractors/Stakeholders and host communities and ensuring compliance with environment, health and safety legislation, regulations and recognized industry standards.
